Biographical Information

Norman White Cary (1849-1928) was born in New York City, and graduated from Yale University and Princeton Seminary (class of 1873). He served several ministries as a Presbyterian pastor. He did graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University and taught at Wilson College and Michigan Military Academy.


Scope and Content

This collection contains hundreds of Mr. Cary's weekly letters written from Princeton to his family, 1870-1873. These are arranged by year. There are also some items relating to Mr. Cary's work as alumni secretary for his class (1873) at the Seminary.
