Administrative Information

Processing Information

This collection of Dr. Yates' papers was given to the Seminary Libraries in November of 1994 by his daughter, Miss Helen R. Yates of York, Pennsylvania. It was organized and the original finding aid was written in July of 1996, by Raymond D. Cannata, under the direction of William O. Harris, Archivist. The sermons remain in the same basic order in which Dr. Yates maintained them. The manuscripts are arranged into twenty-four "volumes." Each volume is housed in an archival enclosure, along with a list of the titles and biblical texts included. The "finding aid" accompanying the material in folder 1:1 of the collection contains all of these lists, as well as lists of all additional materials. The finding aid was edited by Sarah Seraphin and David Anthony Schmidt in May of 2009.
